Training is required prior to using INTEGRA™ Bilayer Matrix Wound Dressing. Participation in this training program will result in certification. At any time during this training program, you are welcome to discuss INTEGRA™ Bilayer Matrix Wound Dressing and its use with one of our technical representatives at 1-877-444-1122 or you may contact your local Plastic and Reconstructive Sales Specialist.


This course is designed to help you become proficient with the use of INTEGRA™ Bilayer Matrix Wound Dressing in Chronic and Traumatic Wounds.

At the end of this course, you will have reviewed:

  • The product description and benefits of INTEGRA™ Bilayer Matrix Wound Dressing, current indications for use, product makeup and the clinical sequence of INTEGRA™ Bilayer Matrix Wound Dressing
  • Through case studies we will show how INTEGRA™ Bilayer Matrix Wound Dressing can be used in a variety of chronic and traumatic wound applications
  • We will review the removal of affected tissue to achieve the ideal wound bed for INTEGRA™ Bilayer Matrix Wound Dressing, the application of INTEGRA™ Bilayer Matrix Wound Dressing, as well as a review of post-operative care guidelines.
  • In the last section we review epidermal grafting, an optional procedure following dermal remodeling to facilitate complete wound closure.

Time Requirements

The time required to complete each section ranges from 30 minutes to 2 hours.


Requirements for Successful Course Completion

Successful completion of this course requires the review of section 1, INTEGRA™ Bilayer Matrix Wound Dressing, section 2, Chronic Wounds (and) or section 3, Traumatic Wounds and section 4, Epidermal Grafting.
