The patient is placed prone on the surgical table with standard protection on the various pressure points. Both ankles are elevated and a tourniquet is applied (except if contraindicated.)

• Antibiotic prophylaxis pre-op
• Do not use plastic drape (percutaneous technique)
• Inflate tourniquet
