• Once dynamic compression has been used this may leave the proximal end of the screw out of the the cortex
• By using the internal screwdriver (119531ND 4.0 mm) the screw can be further implanted
• This does not in any way reduce the effect of the compression because the distal and proximal threads of the body of the screw are identical
• Only after this stage can the guide wire be removed
