Determining Length of Screw

• At insertion of the pin, the appropriate length of screw is determined from a short ruler (reference 119510ND)
• The ruler is placed so that the thin side (marked "bone contact") is aligned with the base of the pin
• Care should be taken to hold the ruler in perfect alignment with the visible part of the pin
• The appropriate screw length is then read directly from the ruler (graduate from 0 to 60 mm)
